What is a religion?
Some may claim that religions require belief, particularly in supernatural forces beyond our ken. Is religion defined through externalizing power, denigrating the self, or entering subjecthood to another person?
In the term's most basic sense of conscience, conscientiousness, and a duty or moral obligation to try to live harmoniously, what we teach is religious. We internalize responsibility, decry exploitation, and uphold self-empowerment.
