Beyond the Mundane

Every action results in a reaction. If you pound a nail into a piece of wood, the hammer is the actor and the nail the reactor. In 1687, physicist Sir Isaac Newton wrote on this Law in Mathematics Principles of Natural Philosophy: “To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction: or the mutual actions of two bodies upon each other are always equal, and directed to contrary parts.”

Humankind is much more than physics, and yet culture upon culture have come to realize something golden within us.
