Beyond Material

Every action results in a reaction. If you pound a nail into a piece of wood, the hammer is the actor and the nail the reactor. In 1687, physicist Sir Isaac Newton wrote on this Law in Mathematics Principles of Natural Philosophy: “To every action there is always opposed an equal reaction: or the mutual actions of two bodies upon each other are always equal, and directed to contrary parts.”

From eras that predate history to today, others have been aware of this Law. Some have made the claim that it also applies to our innermost self.
